These handy foam extinguishers are the ideal solution for fires in fire classes A and B. Due to their low specific density, water film-forming foam agents are able to form a closed, vapor-tight and watery film on surfaces of burning liquids.
This barrier layer prevents the escape of vapors and gases and also hinders the supply of oxygen to the burning material.
So the fire is smothered. For fire class A objects, the foam creates a gas-tight layer that also smothers the fire. Foam also has a cooling effect due to its water content. The foam can be easily removed later. Thanks to a significantly reduced fluorine content, these Jockel-Bio foams are significantly more environmentally friendly. Of course, Jockel does not use foam concentrate with perfluorooctane sulfonate (PFOS) and perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA). Thanks to an optimized recipe, the increase in extinguishing active substances and fine-tuning, the high-performance organic foams are even more powerful
