To ensure that several branch lines do not fail in the event of a short circuit, line separators can be connected between them. The line separator is used where several branches are connected to the FDnet/C-NET at one point if there is no other device between the branches. Converting existing collective systems to addressable Sinteso and Cerberus PRO fire alarm systems. The line isolator is an 'electronic switch' that is inserted into the FDnet/C-NET and, in the event of a short circuit, disconnects the negative conductor so that the short-circuit-free side can continue to operate. The line separator has 2x 2 connections for the detector line. The yellow LED for the status display signals short-circuit separation.
