The AMFE - Automatic mini fire extinguishing unit
The AMFE extinguishing system is available in different versions and sizes. It is perfect for securing fire protection systems

against fire and extinguishes the fire as soon as it starts. In this way you protect your objects very effectively and prevent the fire from spreading and causing even greater damage. The AMFE is available in the following variants:

The necessary amount of extinguishing fluid must be calculated taking into account the guidelines relevant to your application (e.g. NFPA 12, NFPA 2001, VdS 2093, EN 15004). Functionality:
If a fire occurs, the heat will create higher pressure on the ampoule. Once the set trigger temperature is reached, the ampoule ruptures and 3M Novec™ extinguishing fluid is released from the cylinder through the holes in the AMFE body. This means the fire is caught at an early stage and the damage can be limited. This plays an important role, especially when securing server cabinets and control cabinets. In addition , 3M's Novec™ extinguishing fluid has no electrical conductivity. This will prevent other components from being damaged during the deletion process.
The difference between AMFE and S-AMFE:
The S-AMFE also delivers a signal that it has been triggered and therefore has a feedback contact. This is not possible with the normal AMFE. Click here for the S-AMFE!
