Monitored converter module for the use of fiber optic cable routes in the BITBUS network of fire alarm panels of the detect 3004plus series

  • Enables external redundant 24 V supply via second galvanically isolated supply input
  • Enables Bitbus operation with fiber optic multimode cables 62.5/125 µm or 50/125 µm and ST connectors
  • Robust industrial metal housing, suitable for DIN rail mounting
  • 6 LED indicators for operational readiness, sending and receiving on both sides, malfunction
  • Isolated RS-485 interface with extensive protective circuitry for harsh industrial environments
  • Enables Bitbus operation with unlimited message length with baud rates of 62.5 kBit/s and 375 kBit/s
  • Generation of a fault message via LED and an integrated alarm relay for failure of the fiber optic connection and interruption of the power supply
